Implementation Self Assessment Tool

How this tool works

Getting started
Once you have registered and logged in you have the option to complete a test assessment. This enables you to get a better feel for how the system works. To start a test assessment click on the 'Test Assessment' button in the options menu. You can complete as many test assessments as you wish. When complete the summary and full reports for these test assessments can be viewed, but the data will not be used in the overall comparison report which is only accessible to those who complete a full and final assessment.

Starting a formal assessment
Click on the 'Formal Assessment' button which you will see on the screen. This will open the tool for you to complete. Please note that you should only complete a formal assessment when you are ready to submit a final version. Once you have clicked on the 'Formal Assessment' button you will be presented with a set of pages to complete. Clicking the 'Submit and Continue' button (at the bottom of each page) moves you through the assessment tool, until you reach the 'Thank You' page and have completed the assessment.

Note: All fields on the first page of the assessment are compulsory. Please ensure you give the assessment an appropriate name as this will be used to uniquely identify that particular assessment at a later date.

Saving your assessment
You can stop the survey at any point although you must make sure you press the 'Save and Go Home' button to save the work that you have done. When you click this button the answers you have completed up to that point will be saved and you will be returned to the survey home screen.

Completing an assessment
There are 8 pages or screens within the assessment. You can track your progress through the pages via the red (completed and current page/s) and grey (to follow) dots at the top right of the page. Once you submit page 8 you will be taken to a thank you page. This will indicate that your assessment is complete.

Note: Once an assessment is complete it cannot be edited, therefore ensure that you are happy with your self assessment before completing and submitting the final page/screen.

Logging out
If you logout of the assessment system you can return by clicking on the link that was emailed to you and logging in using your registration details.

Opening a saved or partially completed assessment
To restart a saved or partially completed assessment select the appropriate link from the list of 'saved' surveys, which is shown at the bottom of the screen once you have logged in.

Accessing reports
Once you have completed your self assessment then 3 online reports will become available. These will be listed at the bottom of the home page screen below the list of saved and completed assessments you have. Clicking on the various links will open the corresponding report, in a new window, so you can always come back to your home screen. These reports are formatted so that you can print and/or save them.

To save a report
Select the appropriate report and wait for it to load. Once loaded select the "save as" option from the file menu within your internet browser. Save the page in html format into an appropriate folder on your computer. To reopen the saved report double click on the html file and it will open in your default internet browser.
