Health and housing: keeping the conversation going- 9 free regional events

Sitra and the National Housing Federation are facilitating nine free regional events for health and housing professionals.

About the conferences

The landscape for providing public services is changing and a clear picture has not yet emerged.  Whilst this uncertainty may cause concern to both the statutory and voluntary sector, there are opportunities to build on the momentum of activity that has built up regarding joint working to shape the services of tomorrow.

These free, one day events, supported by NMHDU, bring together housing and health professionals giving them an opportunity to maintain their dialogue about working together effectively whilst hearing of good practice in joint working.

Benefits of attending

Delegates will leave this conference having:

  • Heard about core issues in relation to health and housing from a national perspective
  • Had an opportunity to learn how choice and control make a difference
  • Appreciated their individual responsibility in embedding joint working into their organisation/department

Who should attend?

Service managers who have a responsibility for strategic direction and/or operational management and front line practioners.  We are hoping to have good representation from housing and health, providers and commissioners and voluntary and statutory sector.
