This report, commissioned by NMHDU and published by the Men's Health Forum and Mind, should be of value to commissioners (including those working within new and evolving commissioning arrangements), especially in helping to coordinate mental health commissioning across local government and the NHS. It should also be helpful to a wide range of others including teachers and others working in education, the police, prison officers and others working in the criminal justice system, social workers and youth workers, employers, voluntary sector organisations and individual users of services, their carers and families
The report focuses on the roles of men and boys in the family and includes the engagement of fathers through service provision. It also emphasises the vital role of the voluntary and community sector in improving the engagement and responsiveness of services for men and boys.
