CDW Evaluation This is a report of the evaluation of the impact of Community Development Workers (CDWs) nationally. Equalities Organisational Development Toolkit The toolkit is intended for use in mental health provider organisations and provides tips on ways to reduce inequality by focusing on all aspects of an organisation rather than focusing for example on training. Dual Heritage Study This is a report of a small study into the experience people of Black / White dual heritage backgrounds in an inner city mental health trust who were subject to an assessment under the Mental Health Act over a three year period. Evaluation of DRE Ambassador Programme This report is the outcome of an evaluation of the Ambassador Programme that was established as part of the programme Delivering Race Equality in Mental Health Care.
Let's Respect Toolkit for Care Homes Published

The guide, developed and published by NMHDU is primarily aimed at staff working in care homes who want to know about the mental health needs of older people in order to improve practice and standards of care. However, a lot of the information will also be useful to other care provider – for example, domiciliary care.

Demonstrating the Effectiveness of Housing Support Services for People with Mental Health Problems: A Review

In close collaboration with the National Mental Health Development Unit (NMHDU) and the North West Mental Health Improvement Programme (MHIP), Making Space today publishes a guide titled ‘Engagement in the Commissioning Cycle’, as a reference tool for anybody who has an interest in the involvement of the people who use mental health care services in commissioning.
